This article examines the determinants and consequences of rite exorcism from constitutional law perspective. The study was limited to in Roman Catholic Church due its dominance religious composition population Poland. Exorcism is clearly a manifestation religion, it argued that performance should be subject constraints justified by need protect health right humane treatment exorcised. Therefore, necessary call for establishment legal restrictions, both preventive (mandatory medical consultation before performing rite, mandatory examination exorcists) ex-post (ban on given category people). On other hand, an absolute ban exorcisms would violate essence freedom manifest religion not satisfy requirements proportionality.
